Deposit/FeesA deposit four weeks of your child’s fees is required to hold your child’s place in the Nursery and After School Club prior to their starting day. Once your childs placement has been agreed and confirmed and a deposit paid for their place, any cancellation even if paid well in advance of their start date will result in fees being charged regardless of attendance. Once your child commences attending, your deposit will be used at the end of your childs placement and deducted from the required notice of leaving period of four weeks. One weeks deposit is required for the Playgroup and this will be deducted from the second half-term payment.Nursery, Little Dragons and After School Clubs statements are issued at the beginning of each term and are due for payment on or before the second Friday of each month. Payments can be made by various methods credit card/business cards we make a 3% transaction charge, cheque - made payable to St Georges CCP, cash or by standing order forms available from reception. Debit cards can be used at no charge. We also accept all brands of vouchers issued under the salary sacrifice scheme. All fees, inclusive of food, are revised annually at the beginning of June. Parents paying the Projects funded subsidised fees will be asked to verify their current circumstances and eligibility at regular intervals. External trips, especially Holiday Playscheme outings, may require an extra payment if entrance fees are involved. Cancellation of placeOnce you have confirmed and accepted a place for your child and your child is attending, one months notice in writing is required to cancel your childs placement or to alter their sessions. Failure to give one month’s notice will result in fees being charged, regardless of attendance. Notice of cancellation for After School Club and Playgroup must amount to four weeks within term-time. Payment must accompany booking forms for each Holiday Playscheme and no cancellations will be refundable. If a booking is cancelled prior to the start date then the deposit is forfeited.Charge for late collectionsAny child still in the Project’s care after the standard session ends will be booked as a “late collection” that will incur an extra charge. We have to have a cut-off point and if children are still on site after that time our staff rota is disrupted. Although we will sympathise when the unexpected late collection happens unfortunately it will still incur a late charge.The Grant SchemeThe local authorities provide a grant to assist with nursery or playgroup fees for children who will be three years old at the start of the next term. For example, Tom will be three years old on 15th August and he will be eligible for the grant from the Autumn term after his birthday September to December. Lydia will be three years old on 17 November and she will be eligible for the grant from the winter term after her birthday January to March.The grant is only available in term-time and for up to fifteen hours per week from September 2010. Depending on the sessional fees and the opening times of both the Playgroup and the Nursery, the grant will be deducted from the child’s fees and the remaining balance itemised for payment by parents/carers. If a child is attending at more than one nursery or playgroup, the grant for up to 15 hours from September is divided between the two providers. If children are attending a nursery attached to a school, the school will claim the funding. Attendance registers are kept and show evidence of each child’s attendance record, the time they arrive and the time they leave each session. Our very reduced rate introduced as from Sept 08 will be only £6.00 per session. · Number of places available is limited to 27 per week. Families in temporary/bed and breakfast accommodation:· Places may be available at £3 per session until benefits are received then the rate will increase to £6 per session in line with other subsidused sessioms.Little Dragons Playgroup·· Morning sessions 9.00am to 12 noon £11.40 · Afternoon sessions 12.45am to 3.45pm. £11.40 · Optional additional charge for mid morning or afternoon snack 50p per snack · Late collection surcharge: £20 Afterschool ClubCollection from school until 6pm.· If we collect: £ 13.50 per evening · If you deliver: £ 13.00 per evening Late collection surcharge. £20 If your child is being collected from school to join our After School Club please ensure that you telephone St Georges by 2.30pm if your child is not to be collected. If you do not let us know that your child does not need collecting there will be a penalty charge of £10.00 |
