Here are some of our achievements

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have been able to grow and adapt to meet the changing needs of our community. We have evolved from a small playgroup with just 5 children to a thriving childcare establishment offering a range of childcare options catering for children as young as 9 months to school age at 4 to 5 years old to providing after school care and holiday playschemes for children up the age of 11.  Whilst we work hard to make every penny count and hold our own fundraising events to help pay for our assisted places scheme, improvements and equipment, running a childcare establishment in a wonderful old Victorian building is an expensive business.  Without the generous support of our donors, the help provided by St George’s to families in crisis would be severely limited. St George’s offers a unique service that plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life for those living in the deprived areas of the local community.

• In 2010, we were successful in obtaining a grant from Kent County Council, this in addition with a donation from Tunbridge Wells Lions, we were able to undertake internal refurbishment so that we could open up a new baby room. 
• We are currently offering 35 sessions a week on our assisted places scheme.
