Fundraising for us

fundraising

There are many ways to fundraise. We recommend choosing a method that is most suited to you, your lifestyle and your fundraising target. Don't overstretch yourself and above all don't forget to enjoy it, you will be more successful if you do! If you are stuck for ideas, please look at our list of ideas.

Making your event safe and legal: When planning an event it is important to consider the health and safety of staff, volunteers, participants and members of the public etc, and to take steps to minimise any risks. Please download our factsheet, which is a handy checklist of areas you should review when organising an event.

Insurance: Whilst we appreciate your support and are delighted that you are planning to organise an event, St George’s Community Children’s Project cannot accept liability for any fundraising activity or event you undertake in aid of St George’s. If you require insurance there are organisations who provide this.

We are there to help and support you: Don't feel limited by our suggestions - if you want to organise an entirely different type of event then please do so, and call us for further advice. We may be able to provide you with appropriate St George’s branded fundraising materials you may require such as collection tins, posters, balloons etc - please contact us on 01892 543982 or use the contact us form for more information.

Please don’t forget to tell us about it: We absolutely love to hear how it all went! And perhaps we can feature your fundraiser on our website. We will notify you directly if your fundraiser is featured on our latest news page. St George’s really appreciates everything you do!
