St George's Project

As a UK registered charity, founded in 1982 we offer:

  • Full day care for babies to infant school age
  • Term time care in our playgroup for children aged from 2 1/2 years old to school age
  • After school club and holiday club for children in full-time infant and primary education
  • Assisted places for children of families in difficult personal or financial circumstances

10 good reasons why you should choose St George's:

  • The continuity of care we provide is unique, we offer a complete wrap around service so your child could start with us as a baby, move up through the groups until they start school, then take advantage of our after-school club and holiday club until they reach 11
  • Our large garden has a separate area for babies and toddlers, a 'Den' for play in all weathers and a growing area, so that all our children can grow fruit and vegetables
  • Our qualified, experienced, committed staff will provide continuity in your child's care
  • Our cosy rooms in this lovely Victorian House offers a homely environment
  • Our minibus service will collect your primary school children from local schools and bring them back here for tea in our after school club, as well as providing the opportunity of taking the older children off-site for trips
  • Freshly prepared food is cooked daily in our large commercial kitchen offering a varied, healthy and nutritious menu
  • CCTV cameras let us know who arrives and leaves the building at any time
  • We believe parents are the experts on their child so we work closely to develop good relationships with every family
  • We do not charge for Bank Holiday's or if we need to close in an emergency ie extreme snowy weather, boiler break down etc
  • There is no registration fee

Many thanks to Tunbridge Wells Round Table for their donation which enabled us to get our new website up and running.
